The world has changed tremendously over the years. In past centuries, our technological achievements were very limited. 1. The Three Automation Levels:
This notion reflects the specific level of automation the washing machine maintains. Three categories are available under this category heading.
a. Manual:
The washing machines of prior generations required an operator to a wash routine to included a wash cycle, load level, detergent amount, water quantity and other directions.
b. Semi automatic:
These are washing machines that perform set routines and even have certain sensors. However, these machines do require the involvement of the operator because they consist of two barrels, one for washing and rinsing and the second for drying.
c. Automatic:
Consider this a new age machine which looks to totally remove human involvement out of the entire washing process. The only thing an operator needs to do is load the machine and then start it. The operator does not need to do anything else after this.
2. Technology:
The technology that is inherent in the washing machine has been improving for a long time now. The new age automatic washing machines include hi-tech technologies with sixth sense, the fuzzy logic and the neuro fuzzy control being some. Washing machines can also be categorized on this basis.
3. Loading mechanism components:
The loading mechanism can be considered the easiest way to differentiate between different models of washing machines. There are two basic types of washing machines that fall under this criterion. They would be a top loader and a front loader. As newfound research shows, the front loader is known to be more energy efficient than is the top loader version.
Even though the above mentioned are the three primary criteria to differentiate between washing machines, there could be more criteria that can be used. For example, the level of environmental friendliness of the washing machines can also be used to differentiate between them. It should be noted that the purchase of washing machines should be considered in the above mentioned categories because it would decide the potential future purchase of Washing Machine Spares.
